Spokesperson for President Buhari's re-election campaign, Festus Keyamo has said he has a feeling that the opposition party, PDP have given up on winning the 2019 general elections.
According to him, 'whilst we’ve consistently made clear projections on how PMB would win in a landslide in 2019, the response of the opposition has always been full of ‘sound & fury, signifying nothing’. They keep parroting the phrase ‘Nigerians have rejected Buhari!’ They run away from the figures'.
He added that, 'we take nothing for granted, but my hunch is d main opposition has given up on 2019, hence the confused reactions to their recent loses (‘we will boycott’ or ‘no we will match their rigging’ etc.). It’s like a boxer, knocked down & dazed but groping to get up when d fight is over'.
